We just received this story from (almost) 6 yr old Seraiah:
I am almost 6 years old. I like my fencing gear and can’t wait to start lessons. My mom bought me the gear because she has proposed and is in the process of implementing fencing as a sport at my school, Liberty Classical Academy in Maplewood Minnesota. Here is the website of my school:
We just received the “Best of Foil 2008 Vol 2″ DVD from fencingpictures. This foil fencing dvd is packed with footage of the 2008 CIP in Paris and features some great fencing, including silver medalist Ota (JPN) in the team final match.

Just posted a news bite on Seth Kelsey. He took 3rd at the Italy Gran Prix and is ranked 2nd behind Tagliariol in the individual rankings. (Article on Seth here)
This is great for Seth. He had a really tough draw in Beijing when he had to face Jeannet and ended up 17th. (Jeannet had not fenced for a lot of the season, so was seeded well below his real ability level.)
