Wireless Epee Makes TV Debut

The wireless epee system - the HitMate - is set up to provide fencing clubs with an easy way to set up for practices and demonstrations, especially for clubs that share facilities with other sports (or who use mixed-use space in a YMCA or rec center.)

One HitMate customer provided a great use of the HitMate’s use for getting a demonstration in the local media.

Final Day of Jr. Wolrds - Silver and Bronze for US

The US Men’s Foil and Women’s Epee teams won silver and bronze medals on the final day of fencing at the 2009 Junior World Championships in Belfast, Ireland.

This was a good Cadet & Junior Worlds for the US team and I’ll be going over some stats over the next couple of days to recap the performance compared to years past.

US Women Defeat Italy

The US squad wins the Junior Women’s Team Foil event at the Cadet & Junior World Championships.

This is great news for the US, especially considering that 2 of the 3 fencers in the match are still in the cadet age class.
