Here’s a video of the 2003 St. Petersburg Grand Prix event between Cassara and Guyart. Looking at this video, you wouldn’t believe that Guyart went on to win the Gold Medal at the Athens Olympics in 2004. Cassara dominates this bout.

Tim Morehouse and Jason Rogers have been putting on the full court PR press since they got back from Beijing. I’ve seen lots of pictures of Tim and Jason from various NYC parties but tonight I saw something that I wasn’t expecting.
We’re getting started with some videos based on questions that come up in the forums. This is really a rough cut, but our first batch of video clips highlighting foil point in line situations has received a good deal of commentary in the forums.

Last weekend I traveled up to Greensboro, NC to visit family and during that visit I got the chance to be thoroughly embarrassed and owned by some of the fencers at the Mid-South Fencers Club, now located in Durham, NC. (They had a location in Greensboro but life, job and alignment of the stars led them up I-85 to that town 8 miles from Chapel Hill, NC.)
