London may Scrap Fencing Venue for 2012 Games

London 2012 organisers confirmed yesterday they are considering scrapping the construction of the planned 8,000-seat temporary fencing venue in the Olympic Park and relocating the sport to an existing facility. The change of plan, which would see the fencing events take place outside the Olympic Park at the ExCel Centre in Docklands, could save the Olympic Delivery Authority as much as £90m. Fencing Trailer for Mario and Sonic at the Olympics for the Wii

We found a new trailer for Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games. This video shows off the fencing event, which will have you waving the Wii-mote around like you’re playing swordfighting in the back yard.  There’s no FIE gear or even fencing masks on the characters, but also nobody gets their eye poked out.
