Wireless Epee Makes TV Debut
The wireless epee system – the HitMate – is set up to provide fencing clubs with an easy way to set up for practices and demonstrations, especially for clubs that share facilities with other sports (or who use mixed-use space in a YMCA or rec center.)
One HitMate customer provided a great use of the HitMate’s use for getting a demonstration in the local media.
Check out this video, including a cameo by the HitMate, of a local Fox affiliate in Memphis:
Now, imagine doing that with your own local news channels. More coverage for local epee fencing, which would increase your ability to market to the local community.
So, how would you use the HitMate to boost publicity for your club?

I don’t WHERE the comment related to alcohol came from! Why would he SAY that? Heheheh! ANYway, it was cool and very easy to do with the HitMate…set up your own interviews on morning news shows!

Looks like a pretty good, if short interview. I hope it was good publicity for the Memphis programs. Do you mind if we put a link to this up on the TN Division website? Trying to build it up to be more current and informative.
